What we collect
When you create an account: your name and an email address or phone number. When you order: your delivery address and order history. When you sell: your farm name, location and payout number. We also keep basic visit statistics (pages viewed, country) to understand how the site is used.
What we use it for
To run the marketplace: delivering your orders, paying farmers, sending order updates by email, and answering your questions. If you join the harvest-alert list we email you occasional news - every such email tells you how to opt out. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Your theme and language preferences and your basket are stored on your own device. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who processes data for us
The site runs on trusted infrastructure providers: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (email delivery), Sentry (error monitoring) and our payment partner for mobile-money payments. Each processes only what it needs to do its job. Your password is stored only as a strong cryptographic hash - nobody, including us, can read it.
How long we keep it
Account and order records are kept while your account is active, and order history is retained for bookkeeping. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your personal details, keeping only what bookkeeping law requires.
Your rights and contact
You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Message the hub on WhatsApp from any order page or reply to any email from us, and we will handle it.
